PROJECTS
- Monthly Ration Scheme
In this project ration is provided for one month to a deserving
family having 6 memders.
In the year 2005, ration was provided to approximately 100
families.
- Distribution of Sewing Machines
Al-Khidmat helped women to support their children. In the
year 2005, approximately 75 women were given sewing machines.
About 450 women so far have been benefited through this
project.
- Project for water supply
Al-Khidmat is working on reglar basis to supply water in
areas of Sindh, Baluchistan and Karachi.Wells, Wind Mills
(Pan Chakki),Water Tanks and Water Connections were provided
through this project.
Tharparkar

In the year 2005, 125 wells were bored and
approximately 500 people benfitted from each well. |
Karachi
|
In the year 2005, 4 wells were bored in Karachi. Approximately
500 people were benefited from each well. |
Baluchistan
|
In the year 2005, 15 projects for water supply were
completed at different places in Baluchistan. Approximately
500 people were benefited from each well. |
Release of Prisoners
|
Many prisoners were released by giving small
amount of surcharge and resolving cases. In the year 2005,
Al-Khidmat provided this support to approximately 80 prisoners. |
Iftar program
|
Iftar was provided to approximately 3,000 prisoners
in the month of Ramadan. |
- Distribution of blankets and warm
clothes in winter season
In the year 2005, approximately 1,000 blankets
have been distributed.
FUNERAL
BUS SERVICE
Al-Khidmat is the first to initiate Funeral Bus Service in
Karachi. Following are 12 Centers working in the city where
17 buses are available.
