- PIMA RELIEF ACTIVITIES IN DISASTER AREAS:
Pakistan Islamic Medical Association (PIMA) is the first
medical relief organization in Muzzafarabad as stated by
Pakistan army.PIMA has four relief base camp, one in abbotabad,
second one in muzzafarabad ,third in Bagh and last one in
Balakot.
- BASE CAMP ABBOTABAD: In Abbotabad 3
Hospitals utilized with 30 doctors, 9 operation theaters
working for 24 hours. Prof. Ahmed Saeed is the relief chief
coordinator in Abbotabad.
- BASE CAMP MUZAFFARABAD: In Muzaffarabad
70 doctors has been working day & night with the chief
coordinator of relief Prof. Iqbal Saeed in Muzaffarabad
5 doctors team also go daily in near by villages.
- BASE CAMP IN BAGH: Dr. Babar Saeed of
PIMA leading 15 doctors team in the most devastating area
of Bagh. 1 fully equipped hospital running by PIMA doctors
in Bagh and daily 20-40 operations, operated in it.
- BASE CAMP IN BALAKOT: Pima relief work
has been running in Balakot with 15 doctors which headed
by Dr. Tahir Choudhry.
